For Hennessy’s 250th Anniversary, the brand set out to honor its timeless legacy of artistry. They wanted to celebrate not just the history of the cognac, but the artists who embody its spirit. We were asked to craft an augmented reality experience that allowed audiences to explore featured artists in a way that felt refined, immersive, and worthy of the Hennessy name.
The Challenge
How do you translate 250 years of heritage into a digital experience without losing its timeless character? Hennessy needed a way to make their artist exhibition interactive while preserving the brand’s DNA of elegance and refinement.
The Approach
Apollo88 designed a clean, minimalist interface that put the art front and center. Using the Blippar app, scanning a Hennessy trigger object unlocked an elegant digital gallery where audiences could explore artist profiles in an interactive space. As lead designer, I directed the concept, built the visual system, and prepared the production files — ensuring the digital experience mirrored the brand’s sophistication while introducing a layer of innovation.



The Outcome
The activation extended Hennessy’s anniversary celebration beyond the exhibition walls. By merging timeless heritage with modern interactivity, the brand reinforced its reputation for artistry, innovation, and cultural leadership.
